No, but close. It's on par with the M6 in many areas. It has an older generation of carbon ceramic brakes, so it's not going to stop as rapidly. That's a bit important when you can easily hit triple digits on even a tiny straight section of road - and then hold the corners at 80 mph.
Plus look cool as can be doing it!
Stylistically, it may be a little better than the M6 - but the M6 is a 4 door beast from hell that wants to eat your car when it roars up behind you. It's very different than a two seater that's not even suitable for very long trips and would be useless as a daily driver unless you did your shopping every few days.
They're different cars that excel in different ways. To most people, the AMG Black Series is gonna look better - and they're not wrong.
It stands out a lot more than the M6 as something really special in my perspective.
