Those are the strings I ordered to go with my "cheap" acoustic. It's usually more expensive, I just hunted until I found something at a cheap price. So, it's still in keeping with my "cheap" goal. I did the same thing to pick the Les Paul copy.

LOL I don't know if I'd even give those away. That does explain why your strings never sound bright and clear!

I can't do that whole cheap string thing. I can do the cheap thing, but not with strings. They're pretty much the most important part of tone.

Man, I don't know if strings are the most important part of the tone, they age, they break, they get replaced. I would think the pickups and the speakers the sound comes out of are just as important!
