I hope Sam appreciates it. Also, you're either sharing differently - or you've made large steps in improving your playing since you first stared sharing. I tend to suspect the latter. I suspect we've all improved 'cause of this. Having a goal and deadline means you gotta get your shit squared away, and that helps.

Thanks. For a while I was trying to sell music for commercials on some online services. Hit License and Broadjam would list companies needing specific genres of music, then charge people $5 per song to submit tunes. I tried to write a 60-second jingle every week. I'd pick out an ad I felt I could write to, then force myself to get it done before a personal deadline. I did it for a couple years, only sold one commercial.

Nice work. I was lucky enough to see them live at Bumbershoot in 1998, and they opened with Dramamine.

Radical. They had like 5 records in a row that were so good. Not too keen on their new stuff. I blame it on commercialism but that's probably just the punk in me.

I played this song almost every day for the last year and a half. Played it at least 5x sometimes 10x. Also difficult parts over and over. Wanted to destroy by guitbox. Hard truth is I can't play the guitar. Been trying to play it for like 8 years. At least I found out, I just ain't got it.

Yes, that's the one that seems to be rising to the top of peoples list as the years go by. Dylan's got tons of songs that are good but most people don't get them.

I wish Woody Guthrie's song would get more action. This Land Is Your Land. But what're you gonna do. These nigger worshipping 'Muricans are totally hopeless. They wouldn't know a good song if it hit them in the face since they're so used to shit like hippity-hoppity-niggity and rap. Ugh!

Here's something from the archives - but you'll have barely heard it. It was recorded back in June of 2019, at the wife's request.

It has rarely been shared and appears only twice in the archives - and not for quite some time. It probably would have been better to share this when school was actually getting out for the summer months.

Ah well... School is still out.

They are both great. Oddly, Cooper keeps showing up in the strangest of places lately. Like, he showed up in a car show - and an expedition show... He's been in a few other things as well.

Dunno what he's doing with himself, but he seems to be having a good time.
