Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Only a trivial amount. Imagine all of 'em being a part of our society - including things like getting tax refunds, EBT, etc...

Hell, Canada is gonna expect you to provide full health care as a single-payer system. While I agree with that, a goodly portion of America is not very smart and doesn't actually understand the issues. So, you're gonna get Joe Sixpack wired up for sound even though it's a far better system.

It might be better in some ways but I think its worse in some ways too. It amazes me how many people need to see a doctor regularly. The only time I ever see a physician is in an emergency situation

Seeing a doctor regularly prevents unexpected complications. It's less expensive, as an overall average, for people to see the doctor regularly.

Now, we could smooth that out - and we do - with things like PAs and RNAs....

I get invitations to invest all the time, but today I got this:

https://www.startengine.com/daxbot

I'm not going to invest, but scroll down... For $3000 a day, per robot, you can have them at your event.

I kinda want like three of 'em rolling around handing out joints at my 4th of July bash. That'd be fucking awesome.

When I saw start engine I was thinking I need to start my engine.

My motorcycle has an issue now. I was driving it last night with my woman on the back and we hit a big bump where the road had just been worked on and the replacement blacktop they put over the hole was not level. Anyways, when I got to the next stop light my bike would barely stay running at stop and when I tried to go there was no power.

So I pulled over and stopped to see what the hell was wrong, and I see it is leaking gasoline. Oh fuck. I can't drive like that. Just a head of where I had stopped was a little auto repair shop and one of the guys there saw me looking at my bike and came over and asked what was going on, I told him I have a sudden gas leak. He says push it in to my shop, let's take a look at it. I tell him I did not bring any money along with me on this ride and he says I don't want your money, I just like to help people, its just a hobby shop, push it in, you can use my tools.

That was an offer I could not refuse at the time. I pushed it in the shop and used his screwdriver to remove the seat and side covers and try to determine where the leak is coming from, along with this hobby shop guy and what I assume to be a friend of his. I fire it up and it starts right away but gas is pouring down this hose feeding the rear carburetor, and the shop guy says I've got gas line, take that piece of hose off and we'll replace it. I told him again I didn't bring any money, and he says I don't care about that. You can have the hose, take what you need, here put some new hose clamps on it.

OK. I take the 6 inch hose off the bike and it does not seem to be in bad condition. I could not find anywhere that it would have been leaking. They guy says don't worry about that just put this new hose on there. So I did.

Then I fire it up again, and it is spewing gasoline again as it's running, then the guys friend noticed gas spewing out of a port on the carburetor. He says you have a hose off on your carburetor that needs to be reconnected. I said, no, that port has never had a hose on it. I know cause my son and I did carb rebuild kits a couple years ago and I remember those wierd ports that looked like hose fittings but nothing went to them. They must be breathers or a relief valve or something.

So the mechanic who owns the shop says looks like your floats might be stuck, and he was tapping on the carburetor hoping to unstick the floats. I start the bike again and its spewing fuel out that port. I don't think it ever was leaking out of that hose I replaced.

Then they decide that I could plug that port with a short hose and a bolt and that way I could maybe drive it back home without gas coming out. I was willing to try, I would like to have it back home. I was about ten miles from home so I wasn't about to push it home. So the guys gets me a piece of hose and puts a bolt in it and I clamp that on that port. I fire the bike up with that on it, it starts right away and seems to be running normally again. Odd. The mechanic guy says try to take it around the block and make sure it will run ok like that.

Sounds like a good idea to me, so I head out to go around the block, and sure enough, after half a block it stops running and wont start. Damn it anyways. I push it back to the shop there and tell them it wont start anymore and didnt stay running. So I pull that hose that was stopping the gas from spewing everywhere.

So now I am ten miles away from home and things have gone from bad to worse. My bike which had been running great before I hit the bump no longer starts at all. At least when it was leaking fuel it was running like shit but it was still running. Now it's not.

That's when the guy that runs that hobby shop, as he called it, blew my mind. He said I have a pickup truck and a ramp, lets put your bike in the truck and I will get you and your bike back home. How nice of him

So today my son and I took the carburetor off that was spewing fuel and checked the floats and the float was ajar inside there, not sticking cause of gunk, but I think knocked out of whack by that bump I encountered before the issue started. Well we got that all free and good and checked everything else on it and it all seems to be just fine. put it back on the bike and it still wont start.

It has not started since I attempted to take a ride with that one port blocked from spewing gasoline all over my wiring harness.

This sucks, but what great fortune to have had that happen where it did and get to meet suck awesome helpful nice people
