Sounded real good when Peter Paul and Mary did it. Then I thought it was playing again, and it was Puff the Magic Dragon. Go tell it on the mountain is playing

I ain't even kidding. I fuckin' love 'em.

I've already name-dropped two of 'em, including playing with one of 'em. So, I admit my bias.

But... I was a fan LONG before that. I've been a fan from as early as I can remember music. It sounds strange, but I love the guitar work. If you listen carefully, you'll understand why. Go ahead and try covering 'em exactly as they played.

Damned right, it is. They were one of the greatest bands to grace the planet, but are so overlooked.

Sure, it's folk - but not all of it. Some of it is early rock - including "I Dig Rock And Roll Music".

Their guitar work is insanely skillful, but you're never gonna see them on a 'greatest guitarists' list.
