I have one of Gibson's reverse V models. It's actually more ergonomic than it looks, but it doesn't get played at all really.
That looks like it'd be a bitch to hold and play - and heavy, but all double neck guitars are heavy.
I wonder if it'd be more realistic with a reverse V shape? Or maybe one regular V and a reverse V?
You don't think that's realistic? I know it's a shitty drawing but I thought it would be possible to make, just have to use some wood that would be strong enough to hold them together at the crossings.
Those backwards V's just look weird. I would play one of those though way before those behemoths that djent video guys were playing
I think it'd be awkward. It could be made. Anything can be made. I'm just not sure how many folks will find it appealing. So, you'd have to get a custom made one 'cause I don't think it'll ever be produced by an OEM.
Yeah it would not be practical at all, it might be cool to pull it out on stage for a song, then put it away.
