I did not know what Norlin era Gibsons were so I looked it up and just read an interesting article about it. The article I read was about the new electronics Gibson unveiled in the new models like the Marauder and the Corvus and the S-1. Do you have some of those examples or do you just have the more common Les Paus and Explorers or 335s from that era?
I should have some of those. I don't really know. I opened three Gibson cases. Two were LP models and one was an SG.
The Norlin era is often ignored and unappreciated. Rightfully so, I guess, at least in some cases... But, man, Gibson made some weird shit during that period.

I just received a new fuel pump for my bike and installed it and the damned thing still isnt starting
Yeah, they were a bit too far ahead for some folks. I liked some of what they did and at least they tried bringing new stuff to the table.
And that's definitely not good (for your bike). I suppose you verified that it was pumping fuel like it should.
