Nice! "Me being here is gift enough!" My kids only fell for that a few times when growing up. They finally just accepted we were poor, even though daddy owned his own business. I was still able to spend like a few hundred dollars on each of them per Christmas and another few hundred dollars on them per birthday. So, they still got shit for their holidays... In return, they buy me socks. It's a long-standing tradition. They still buy me socks, but I insist on them being good socks. My socks cost anywhere from $12 to $28 per pair... I don't wear anything else but good socks. I will straight up chuck cheap socks in the trash and I donate my socks after wearing them as few as one time - 'cause poor people need good socks. So, I donate my barely used socks to the thrift stores that are local to me. Biff has a birthday coming up. I've already spent $12,000 on jewelry. She's also been mentioning a couple of guitars she kinda likes and a couple of current cars she might like one or the other examples... Consider her last birthday... I bought her a Porsche 918 Spyder... Plus custom jewelry... I bought her custom jewelry *before* she and I were a couple. I just didn't spend that much on it. LOL I'm a sucker for a beautiful woman.
