You can watch some more TV channels. You can pretend to be from elsewhere. You can sign up for things not allowed for Americans.

I use it mostly to watch stuff not allowed to US viewers such as the race I'm watching. But, you can use it to watch things like BBC documentaries or the likes. You can sign up for stuff restricted to specific countries. You can appear to be in the US, or appear to be in Ireland (if you want).

It comes in surprisingly handy for my browsing habits.

No, but you might watch something with me at some point.

But, there are all sorts of times when I want to appear elsewhere. For the most part, some folks think I live in Canada 'cause I only use their site with a Canadian IP address. It's great for that.

You don't have to use it, but you can. Well, you probably can... I have to change the address and username in September.

Speaking of September, musicfor.us needs to have their hosting bill paid. I'm hoping COF's heirs are as good as their word and keep paying it. If not, I'll cover it and probably just throw ads up on the site.
