They raced through it. Hell, they started during it. The race is long since over.

Wow, don't races usually get stopped when it's raining?

Not that I am aware of - unless it's really wet and unsafe. Even NASCAR now races in (some) rain.

There's a single-make race going on now, actually. It's the last race of the weekend and it has been red-flagged but I'm not sure why. I wasn't watching and they've yet to show a replay. That usually means it was a pretty wild wreck.
