I like the playing, but that one doesn't really suit your voice (in my opinion).
I'm sure COF would have some history of the song for us, but that's just something we'll have to miss. Speaking of which, the hosting bill is due soon for his site. I'll have to bug the family or just cover it myself. I suppose I can just move it to some static site as nobody appears to want to keep adding articles.
Anyhow, there's not much else you can really do at this point except say fuck it and try to enjoy the rest of the night. Unless there are pets or kids, I don't think I'd even bother cleaning the mess up tonight. I'd staple plastic over it to keep the bugs out (if the glass fell out) and deal with that shit tomorrow. Hell, I might even wait until Sunday.
If you own, your insurance will cover it. If you rent, I'm not so sure - but then that'd be the landlord's responsibility - probably? I mean, shouldn't they be the one to cover it? 'Snot your fault that shit happens.
Accordin' to some sources, this song was one of the reasons EC left the Yardbirds. He felt they were headed into pop territory, and he wasn't up for that.
Graham Gouldman co-wrote "I'm Not In Love", along with a few smash hits of the '60s like "Heart Full of Soul" for the Yardbirds, "Bus Stop" for the Hollies, and "No Milk Today" for Herman's Hermits.
Tha glass is still hangin' in the frame. It's like a six million piece jigsaw puzzle.
LOL Have you come up with a plan to get all the glass out of the frame without making a giant mess?
I'm legit going to have to remodel a chunk of my basement if I want all my guitars in the same place. The basement is finished and doesn't have a humidity problem, so that's fine. It just means changing some plans I was pretty gung-ho about and moving a non-bearing wall out of the way.
I had a bunch of guitars that just sat in storage since I retired and moved. I'd forgotten how many I had stored and I've accumulated a lot since then. Sp, I have more guitars than I know what to do with.
