Glad you liked it. It's not 'perfect' I guess. I mean, I was just fucking around. I'm not actually a bass player, but I've played a lot of bass - both on and off the stage.

The way you not only changed the note but the sound. Is awesome. Im a metalhead. Never was into funk R&B or music that had amazing bass lines.

I've been trying to get slapping down. However, the best I can do is Fieldly from Korn and sound like the album. However, he doesn't play conventionally.

If slap is your goal, I'd suggest trying to think of the bass as a percussion instrument. With that, in time, you'll get more accurate with the fingering.

In most cases, I'd suggest slowing it down with a metronome and then building speed gradually. This time, I'd say get the tempo and worry about the exact fingering a bit later.
