Thanks! I still really want to smoke sometimes. I just don't do it. That's the willpower thing and it still takes quite a bit of willpower.
I know it'll get easier in time. I also keep telling myself that it's okay to have one or two a day. I just don't do it.
But, anyhow... That's what it's like to drive a Daimler Dart. It's fun. It has its charms. They can't all be track-focused monsters. I like the variety of my collection. I'm actually thinking about sending this one back to the mechanics early, as they never operated it at speed. So, they didn't notice the carb issues or that the timing seems off when your RPMs hit 4500 or so.
The good news? It's not some track monster. LOL It's simple enough that I could fix it. There's no special tools required for anything - except the wheels. To remove the wheels you need a hammer. I have a ton of special hammers for just that thing, plus there's one in the trunk.
We hit something on the highway earlier today and got a flat tire, luckily we did not need a hammer
They're center-lock wheels, so yeah... You whack 'em with a hammer. If you tow it in reverse, the wheels can fall off. Welcome to the world of owning cars with center-locks.
My sons car definitely does not have center locks, he has these terrible lug nuts with some thin chrome covering on them
