It is rare, that's why the insurance isn't hundreds of thousands of dollars.

That's why you carry insurance. Drunk people sober up and want to sue the shit out of you. Better to just tell their jackass lawyer to call the insurance company. I wasn't there, but the band has had one insurance payout. Some drunk chick tried to climb up on the speakers down on the dance floor. She and the speakers fell over. She didn't sue but the damage was enough to file an insurance claim. The speakers were pretty banged up. They still worked, they were just beat to shit and broken. I want to say it was just one of them that got replaced? It was like 10k, so like a grand's worth of deductible.
