Well yeah... They were gonna find 'em guilty long before you two entered the court room.

All it was about was someone poured maple syrup on one of the neighbors vehicles, they found the empty bottle in his mothers lawn, that was all it took.

I asked the cop in court if I happened to go shoot someone and murder them and throw the gun in your lawn would that mean you are guilty of murder? LoL

I could see that as being speculative and dismissing the question, but by itself it doesn't seem bad enough to get you booted.
