I would definitely say you did, just the equipment they have available to use at the shows is a great thing
LOL They still haven't paid me back for my initial investment. The agreement was that they'd at least pay me back for the truck, but they haven't done that - and I haven't actually asked for any money.
So, I basically paid about six figures so that I could jam with friends when I feel the urge to do so and so that I could scratch the urge to perform once in a while.
Meh... I've spent money on worse things!

No, no... It has never reached the point where I felt they had enough money to actually pay me back WITHOUT risking their longevity should shit hit the fan. I'm content with that decision.
I don't regret spending the money. I have had a great band to play with and can jam in public any time I get the urge. All I gotta do is tell 'em I'm showing up. That's worth a bunch to me.
