A new set of tires after 1400 miles? Really? Were you lighting them up?
...
WTF do you think I was doing with it?
It's a goddamned Ferrari 488 Spider! I pretty much drove every corner sideways, launched as fast as I could every time I took off, and did donuts in the boat launch parking lot until I was giddy and could no longer see.
Damned right, it should have new tires. Also, it came with those barely legal tires with just barely enough tread to be legal. They're not quite slicks, but they're not far from it. Worse, they're $500 each - and they don't even have much tread on 'em.
That gets expensive when you need $2000 worth of tires every 1400 miles
Well, you wouldn't need them if you drove more tame. There are also tires that will fit and last longer, which is what most owners end up doing.
