For a $170 guitar, it plays amazingly well. If I got off my ass and finished a decent setup and cleaning, it'd be awesome - especially for the price! You can get playable cheap guitars these days. It'd be amazing to be a new guitar student today.

Absolutely. My first guitar was a Yamaha GC-7, which was a very long time ago. You can get a cheap Yamaha Strat copy (Pacifica) for not a whole lot of money.

Yeah, some of them play better, or as well, as some of the more expensive ones.

My brother had an expensive Martin with terrible action lol I dunno if he just never fixed it or what. Martin's just boom too much, drowns out my voice.

My kids have those expensive guitars, what are they, can't even think of the name right now.

Thats awesome. I remember years ago going to music stores and the cheap guitars sucked

They did! Now you can buy a playable guitar for less than a hundred bucks.
