My favorite color is blue usually, sometimes red, and all my vehicles are black. That is a difficult question. I like all the colors. Some for certain things and some for other things. You know. But my stock answer is generally blue, like the sky.
It's nice that the goog is directing people to your site when they search for answers to their linux questions.
And that car looks like it would be a blast to drive. Smoking those tires whenever you want them to. Remember when Biff took a car and smoked the tires in front of the school? She could have done a hell of a cloud of rubber smoke with that car!!
Hmm... I'm gonna stick with blue. It makes it easier. Probably in the next month, I'll need you to send your mailing address to me again via email. I didn't save the previous email, 'cause if my email is hacked I don't want people getting your personal information.
I run my sites with the same idea. Basically, I only ask for the bare minimal of information. If I don't have your personal information, I can't lose your personal information! So, while companies are hacked and their data exposed to the world, that doesn't happen to me. Again, I can't lose your personal information if I never had it in the first place!
And, yeah, it's awesome that Google loves the site. It's amazing how much traffic I get. I never expected anything like that when I first started.
Then again, when I first started it was mostly a 'joke' or 'pass the time' kind of site. I never expected it to reach this level. I had no idea.
As microsoft becomes more and more a lease model with monthly payments I would expect more and more people to switch to linux.
I have no problem emailing you my whereabouts again. You can come knock on the door whenever you feel like it as well. Just don't bring no cops LoL
Sorry...
I meant to type 40,000,000. 40 million, in other words.
I can assure you that I'll check for cops on my tail before showing up. That's just common decency!
To be frank, I don't expect the masses to start using Linux. Sadly, I just don't see it happening in the current environment. The sheep will still pay Microsoft their money. You've always been paying for Windows, it's just included in the cost of the computer. As they go to subscription models, it's not going to change fuck-all.
We, not me but we Linux users, have been hoping for the Year of the Linux Desktop for a long time.
If Linux is used elsewhere, people will flock to it like sheep. Android is Linux, but only kinda. It uses the Linux kernel.
So, your phone (unless it's an iPhone) runs Linux. Your tablet runs Linux. This site, poal.co, runs on Linux. Your smart TV runs Linux. Your satellite dish's control box runs Linux. Your smart light bulbs run Linux, Your car uses Linux. Your car's infotainment runs Linux.
The list goes on...
It's Linux on the desktop that doesn't cut it for folks - even if made to look exactly like Windows!
So, I'm skeptical. Linux may gain a few users, but not that many. Right now, there are, at best, 4,000,000 desktop Linux users - as much as 4%, but probably 2 to 3%.
That's it... Maybe 4 million, tops.
