Amusingly, after we broke up a magpie kicked her ass on her way to work. Her face was all cut up. But, from the pictures, there aren't any scars or anything. She was just 19 when I decided to go visit her. I don't see any magpie scars, so young skin heals well I suppose.

Magpies are motherfuckers. They kick the shit out of people all the time. They're in the crow family, which are actually brilliant birds that even demonstrate generational knowledge. The Corvid family is brilliant, including using tools.
