Indeed, but they tend to sit in front of the computer screen - which makes me figure they're expecting you to not use an external keyboard. At the least, they're making provisions for that situation.
Ah well...
But, yeah, you might just as well plug it in - assuming you have the right connections. They all come with HDMI these days, or so it seems to me. So, no DVI or anything these days - but there are adapters. I suppose you could use an adapter. I haven't seen a laptop with VGA in like a decade, so that's probably right out.
If it requires an external laptop, it's no longer really all that mobile.

I'd feel the same. That's why I've previously just plugged it into a monitor.
Everyone has a spare monitor or three! Well, no... Not everyone, but I certainly do. I always end up holding onto a few of 'em, even though they seldom fail these days.
Yeah theres monitors around somewhere but I am not going to set one up, the laptop has a built in one
