What a gorgeous car!
It's low, wide, and elongated - at least on the front. It's a very sexy car. It handles like a dream and has power to spare. Playing around with traction control off revealed I could easily spin the tires in 3rd gear - but then I was going too fast to try to do it in 4th gear. But, you could downshift to 3rd from 4th and light 'em up well enough for smoke to roll out from behind you.
It's quite a fun car to drive. It's much more tame with traction control turned on and it handles amazingly well when it is on. It's meant to still be decent on the track, but less brutal than a previous model. It also lacks things like a wing. It doesn't even have a wing that pops up at speed. This means it doesn't have the downforce of many other cars in the class, but it also means you have a higher top speed due to the lowered resistance.
It takes quite a bit of power to move these things through the air and a spoiler actually makes the car slower in straight lines.
However, I think we can be confident that I'll never actually get the car up to its top speed. That's over 200 MPH and there's just no way I can do that where I live. I suppose I could try it at night on the interstate, but that sounds like a good way to get hurt or get arrested. Though, I suppose stopping for a police car is optional if you're going that fast.
I would be too scared to go that fast anyways. One mistake and you're toast
I'd not mind it on a decent track or good road surface without any other traffic. I trust my abilities well enough - but I've done a lot of driving at high speeds. I've been close to 200 multiple times. If I trust the car, the surface, the lack of obstacles, and myself... Then I'd be willing to do it.
