They are not very complicated.

I think they're pretty amazing tech. I remember when they first started showing up in guitar stores. They were comparatively expensive back then. These days, you can buy a five pack for like $15.

Wait, I was wrong. It was 4 for $17. I want to say there were cheaper options, but they looked cheap - like they'd break if you looked at them wrong.
