Sewing? Like making clothing? And yeah, she will improve with practice. Has she got better at slide guitar?

She has improved quite a bit, though she's somehow managed to break two of my slides. These were lovely slides that I can't replace. So, she's using a steel slide when she practices now.

How the heck do you break a slide? I hope she didn't have it on her finger and cut herself when it broke

She dropped them, both of them. I've dropped them dozens of times from the same height, usually falling off a desk or something when I remove it quickly and toss it on the desk... These were thick glass, thought to be 'unbreakable'. No... No... She managed to break not one of them but two of them.

Oh, and yes, like sewing clothing type of stuff - or like quilts. She's a 'taster'. She tries all sorts of things, but only sticks with the things that really hold her interest. I've known a bunch of people like that, so that's what I call them. At a buffet, she'd want to try a bite of everything.
