Yes to the piano, no to the violin. There's no violin in there - that's a guitar you're hearing that kinda sounds like a violin. I could see why it'd sound like a violin, especially an electric violin, but it's all guitar (and keyboards and drum and bass guitar).

Oh ok. I could have swore I heard some sort of orchestral sting instrument in there

And the rest of the instruments, of course.

But, no violin. I don't remember any (or hear any). So, I'm going with that.
