Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Reminder: December 23rd is going to be our Christmas edition of the Friday Night Guitar Thread. Get to working on your Christmas songs now so they are done in time!

I think in all but the rarest of cases, you'd be better off trying to secure the original vehicle - or something that's close to it.

If it's a 12 million dollar car, it might be worth spending a half million on getting one built from scratch. I really am not quite sure, but it's gonna take many thousands of hours at $70 to $100 an hour. 'Snot all that easy to shape metal in large pieces like that - and get them to conform to the original. You can get custom sheet metal on a frame for a lot less, but it's not going to have the same things and it's going to be based on some other body structure. That'd save you so much money...

Otherwise, you're talking about measuring a car within 0.001" to get the tolerances even close. It'd be a money pit nightmare, I'd expect.

I like the idea and think it'll actually be cheaper in the future. We're working on the ability to 3D print metal using 'sintering' processes. Right now, they're not all that structurally sound - but the tech is getting better.

Anyhow...

The miniature horse chick was someone we called "The Sow" - openly. She was my mistress. I was married at the time. I'd hand her off to my friends and she loved every minute of it. We'd gang fuck the snot out of her or run trains on her as we saw fit - and she was the goddamned sow.

She was a trooper!

She had miniature horses and we'd sometimes need to move them from one place to another. So, rather than find a trailer, she'd load 'em into her station wagon. We'd be driving down the highway and the horses would stick their head out the windows like dogs - confusing the hell out of people who saw us.

That all came to an end when we left 'em alone for like 20 minutes and they had kicked out four or five of the windows in the back of her station wagon.

Miniature horses are not ponies. They're much smaller than ponies. They can only be like three hands high to be classified as miniature ponies.

Amusingly, I once bet on a race that had real people being pulled in their sulkies by miniature horses. That was much later in life, when my office was right across the parking lot from an off-track betting facility. They had real sulkies being pulled by miniature horses. It was fucking awesome and one of the funniest things I've seen in my life.

Lemme see if I can find you a video...

If you do any betting on horses, that's funnier than you might think!

The sow lol

Yeah, we called her 'the sow', 'cause she was my 'fuck pig'.

I'd not play the PRS because I'd not want to damage the inlays. They're pretty impressive.

Hopefully you feel better soon. Let's hope it's nothing serious.
