Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Yeah, you come through a 'mud room' and into the foyer, assuming you come in through those doors. It's the big doors in the front. You go in and you go into the mud room (coats/hats/gloves/mittens/boots get dropped off there). Then, you go into a foyer with stairways heading up and a high ceiling. I've thought about putting a grand piano in there, but I really want a car in that spot.

I also have a space in my basement where it's finished and formal(ish). Kinda a downstairs den type of thing. That's my other choice of places to put the car - but I think that space may end up being taken up by a new room for the guitar collection. I'm not sure yet. I'm still mulling it over.

I have a pretty big house. I refrain from calling it a mansion, 'cause that's just pretentious. I tend to just call it my house, or 'the estate' if I'm referring to the whole thing. Whilst I have a few bucks, I try not to flaunt it too much. Yes, I own nice things - but I don't really flaunt the money aspect. If that makes sense. I'm very aware of how much good luck has affected my lifestyle and I am keenly aware of those who have not had such good fortunes.

That definitely would spark conversations sitting in the foyer

It's a beautiful piece of art. In it's day, it was the peak of tech, a piece of engineering genius.

I could spent 10x that amount buying a Monet to hang on the wall. I could spend 10x that amount buying statues to put there. Right now, it's a varied space where things come and go. I had a bunch of instruments there at one point, but right now it's just this bright empty space.

I kinda want a grand piano for that spot and to line it with columns with busts on them, perhaps having custom busts made for me.

I've just never been able to decide what to put there and leave there. The car (or maybe another one) would fit there just fine. And, my floor can easily withstand the weight. It's good for hundreds of people as a live load, and this would be a static load.

A grand piano with busts surrounding it of composers would be cool
