I've noticed more teams are going for it on fourth down. That's a good thing, I think. Like, significantly more teams are doing that. That used to never happen, even when it made sense to do so.
The Charger's coach is just a kid. He looks like he's in his 30s, early 30s at that.
There was some college coach a few years ago who decided to go for it every 4th down as analytics told him that would be a good strategy, and it worked. So teams took a little more courage from that, but nobody has done what he did
Well, to be fair, going for it every time is fucking retarded.
But, when you're in the red zone and it's 4 and 1? Yeah, you fucking go for it - unless those 3 points you'd otherwise get are important.
Teams used to never do that.
