Also, yeah... We're getting socked with a pretty solid storm tomorrow. It's in East Rutherford, NJ, right now. That's what'll be here tomorrow.

I'm pretty much the only one awake/up and about now. LOL Even the missus has gone to bed. She took the dog with her.

Never mind... I looked it up. They changed the rule in 2012. It was spotted on the 20 yard line.

I am still connected. I dunno how, but I am. Well, the cell doesn't go out all that often, but it does go out. I'm not used to using it in the winter. I usually have DSL, until they pissed me off.

But, I'm still connected. I'd go ahead and give me until 20:30 to get the thread open (my time, of course). It can be a little late. On the other hand, if I'm here and connected at like 5 minutes ahead of time, I'll open the thread a little early, just to get it done and the first comment posted.

I just opened the thread early. I hadn't seen you, so I figured I'd do it now. I'm barely connected, with dialup speeds. I'll try a different location in the house perhaps.

Huh... I am still connected. Mains power is still out. It went out before the storm even started.

I ain't even kidding. It went out at about 07:00 and the storm didn't hit until about 09:00. I have no idea why the power went out.

Since then, it has been pretty impressive. We've got sustained 30 mph winds and it's dumping rain on us. It's enough rain to ensure I no longer have snow on most of my roofs. We've got snow elsewhere, of course. It'll take a lot of rain to melt all that.

According to Google they're both at 25? I think? I'd have to go look and I dunno how long I've got online.

I'm in the middle of a 'bomb cyclone'. The weather has always existed, they just didn't name it until the 80s. Mains power is gone. My cellular connection is spotty. My satellite sure as fuck isn't going to work.

They're bring it out to the 25th yard line and they've done this for at least a few seasons. I could have sworn it was just spotted on the 20th yard line?

The outside lights are off (meaning the house is closed for the night) and my son in law is watching football with me. He's more of a fan than I am, but he appears ready to fall asleep. But, we're drinking beer and watching football.

Life is fucking good.
