Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Reminder Next week will be our annual Christmas version of the Friday Night Guitar Thread, so get your Christmas songs ready for next week while you still have time!

Also, I'm watching Body Cam - show with cop's body cams...

There's a giant fucking pileup in Winnebago County. Like, huge...

I'd have guessed y'all would have figured out driving in the snow. But, this accident seems to have included 131 car, a bunch of injuries, and I'm not sure how many deaths 'cause they have yet to get that far into the story.

That's fucking insane. That's gotta be close to the record. I seem to recall one out west that was higher. Then there's the one in Montreal that was 200 cars. But, 131 has to be some sort of record - probably the largest ever in that state. That's a pretty solid mass of cars.

It's probably gonna be a GB win, so you might as well.

Hell, I'm gonna let the dog out and meander upstairs myself.

My family is slated to be home in ~3.5 hours.

So, as Biff's in the Wagoneer, I'll get to switch vehicles tomorrow.

This week's vehicle is based on a WWII vehicle. Some say the name came from this era - 'General Purpose'. This one does not have a hard top. It has big giant tires. I gave one to my son's wife, but she could not drive a stick. Instead of teaching her, I just found something else in my collection for her. Also, it's yellow. That's not uncommon. It's obviously 4WD capable.

Any other hints I give you may make it way too fucking obvious.

LOL As you're not so good with the winter vehicles, I may very well need those hints!

Some sort of jeep

Close enough.

I tried to make it easier this time around. The "Jeep" bit, it was originally another name under the Willys corporation, is believed to come from how you pronounce "G P" Gee Pee becomes Jeep from "General Purpose" vehicle. It's similar in that way to many other military things, including the "Humvee" which is the HMWWV in actuality. The civilian versions are Hummers of course.
