Oh, if they fuck with me I'll take it all the way to the Maine supreme court. It's a $25 fine but I don't give a shit.

I'll be back in a bit. I made all the calls I need to make and called in the favor I needed called in. The ball is in their court and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

My lawyer has been in touch with the DA and the DA has informed me, through him, to just tear the ticket up and not to worry about it.

The head of the campus police and the local police want to see the dash cam footage.

We use a dash cam when we're out and about where there's traffic or longer trips. I don't bother with one when I do my daily drives. I encourage Biff to use one every time she drives. (We have more than one.) Fortunately, she remembered to put one in the Wagoneer before taking off - probably because of how far they were going.

We have 50° forecast with rain and heavy snow - on Friday...

That's the kinda weather that takes out my internet. So, if you can, keep tabs on me on Friday. Shit could happen.

Anyhow, Biff's brush with the law has been addressed. I'm not quite satisfied with the outcome - yet. I want to see the officer's driving investigated. My family is off-limits.
