That's not bad. He must get like the full disability thingy.

He never paid into the system, did he?

And, there's some variation because states will also pay you for cost of living. In Maine you get a paltry $10 extra.

Ah, yeah, you can get VA benefits as a child and then I think you keep 'em for life.
