Is it a Z car?
No, no...
They didn't really have a name other than a name saying what they were - and a number that wasn't even printed on the vehicle anywhere.
That is what pops in my head when ever I head it is mistakenly called a Datsun. I don't know many Nissans, is it a sentra? LoL
Also, I should note that, as it sits, it's absolutely terrifying to drive it in the snow.
You need to add some weight to the rear if you want to drive it in the snow and ice.
I am thinking it must be a Nissan pick up truck of some sort
Yup. It's the Nissan Pickup, specifically a "720" which is absolutely meaningless. It doesn't actually say '720' on it anywhere. It's just a number assigned to it and it's known as the Nissan Pickup.

The one I had was an '86, I'm pretty sure. I invented a sport in it. Instead of 4WD offroading, I called it "Two wheeled driving" and I went everywhere people went in their 4WD drive trucks. The trick was to put studded tires on it and then stick about 400 pounds of birch tree in the back end, so there's weight over the tires.
As it sits, especially with the tires on it right now, it's absolutely terrifying to drive.
By that, I mean it's a fucking riot. You need to pay attention like 100% of the time. It has no traction at times - none. At best, you have some steering and you need to coax the ass end into doing what you want it to do.
I thought about putting new tires on it and throwing a few bags of grain or kitty litter into the back. I'm not going to. I'm going to drive it in Sheer Terror mode.
