A mountain climb in an FJ is fun! I verified the winch worked before setting off and it wasn't too treacherous. So, it wasn't too exciting. There was no real risk involved. I was also in cell phone range, should things go south.

Your phone has been stolen?!? That really fucking sucks. I hope you at least have beer to keep your spirits up. Do you know who stole your phone? Gonna go lump 'em up a bit and get it back? Or?

I kinda like it when people stare and look on disapprovingly at the missus and me. It amuses me.

Also, generally speaking, it's mostly older women who look on disapprovingly. The older dudes look on enviously.

Hmm... I should get drunk... I'm not doing anything better! I did drive the FJ up a mountain, straight through unplowed trails. It was a bit of a challenge, but it was accomplished. The thin tires are good at digging down through the snow to find grip, like the old Jeep tires.
