Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

That's a good pedal. 'Snot bad at all.

And, yeah, a Les Paul (even a decent clone) is a wonderful-sounding instrument.

Now, you need to get another one and use it as a mod platform! Use it to try different hardware, swap out pickups, etc... (That's what a lot of people do with 'em. I did no such thing with mine.)

I've got a few pedals I put together. The lead guitar on this is run through a Brian May treble booster I built.

You can hear how warm the pickups are after I set it up. Still...what are some good pickups I might check out?

You can't go wrong with anything from Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio. I'm not much of a modder, but I do keep a bit of an eye on the scene.
