Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

LOL Enjoy your night.

I'm on my way to the bedroom soon.

It has been a productive day. It might as well end well - as I'm sure it will.

I just have to say thanks again man

You're very generous towards me and my family and I really do appreciate it, made the whole night better for us all. Thank you so much. You're wonderful

If my calculations are correct, you should have been pretty drunk by the end of the night. For that, you are most welcome.

Well, I had 14 vehicles delivered to my barns from the previous auction. The rest went straight to storage.

Out of all of them, a half dozen were set out for J to pick from. She liked them all but initially figured she'd just keep the Defender she's been driving. (She has no idea what it's worth. She doesn't even pay to insure it. Hell, she doesn't even pay for fuel.)

One of the new arrivals caught her eye, even though it wasn't on the 'gift' list. Truthfully, she just liked the looks and the color. It'll likely never be used to its potential. So, she commented and I suggested she take a look to see if that would actually be something she liked.

She did and chose it over all the others. However, I now have to teach her to drive it. It just confuses her and she has no idea what all the levers actually do. She had tears of joy and this car should last for many years to come.

An excellent choice. As I own a bunch of 'em, she knows they're good vehicles. Their reliability is legendary and they'll get you anywhere you want to go, so long as you know what you're doing.

Another productive day...

As it was not on the list, the mechanics haven't gone over it yet. So, that remains to be seen... I'm sure it's fine.

Oh, and J says, "Thank you."

You were drunk by then, but you told me to tell her happy birthday for you. So, I did... That was her response.

I'm going to spend time over the next month or so teaching her how to drive with a manual transmission - and probably quite a bit about driving itself. She doesn't bump into things, but her driving could use some tweaking. That'll keep me busy for a while.

I dunno how many people I've taught to drive and/or operate a manual transmission. The list is fairly long.
