Yeah the same color as the flag should not be allowed

I wonder if it's intented, like is there some benefit to it? Does it maybe make players think a flag has been thrown and stop/pause for just a fraction of a second?

I know years ago. In the 40s or 50s some team made their jersey the same color as the ball to make fakes more effective, but they made that against the rules cause it worked too good
