Yeah, that's the safe way to light 'em.
Heat and punch. Don't be afraid of putting the heat to it - but be careful about what else you're heating. It may take a while. Heat and punch.
As the heat dies, keep punching it with a big fucking hammer and something that would fit in the hole. Let it get cooler sometimes. It's the difference in the expansion and contraction of the two materials that matters. That's the important bit - they expand and contract at different rates.

Let it cool down at some points - hitting it while you're doing so.
Again, it's the difference in expansion and contraction rates that matters. The bolt and hole will expand and contract at different rates. That's what you're trying to take advantage of.

the problem is the blows they hit they can not hit it straight down so they are banging at and angle
