That looks like a nice watch. When you say you have intentionally bought forgeries is that just to get it cheaper?

Yeah, and it was close enough to look real. They're time keeping tools that were once important but are less important today for their functionality. But, so long as it looked the part and told the correct time, I've purchased fakes. I tend to mark them as forgeries, with like a paint marker on the battery cover.

I'm also bidding on a digital camera. It's cheaper to get the two lenses I'm interested in this way than it is to buy 'em new. Well, it might be... The auction is at about my limit. I expect to get it cheap and some fucker keeps bidding it up.

They probably think the same exact thing, only in their mind I'm the fucker.

That pretty much sums it up nicely.

I've decided to wait until Sunday. I'll swoop in at the last minute and try to 'snipe' it. That's better than bidding up and up and up, and then just bidding because I want to send a 'fuck you' to everyone else.
