Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

They need to find a way to build better tires!

I guess it's capable of a downforce totaling 3.5g.

To explain (dunno what you know about g forces, but 1g is the approximate force you feel from the Earth's gravity).

So, something with a mass of 150kg would have a mass of 450kg when subjected to 3.5g worth of downforce.

Also, 3.5g is insane. That's the kinda stuff fighter pilots deal with. You start having issues moving the blood around your body at about 9g.

The wreck that I went through had forces probably close to 110g, give or take. But, those were brief and slowed the car down to a final force of somewhere around 45g. (Assuming I've done my estimates correctly, and I'm pretty confident that I did...)

Anyhow, your head weighs 20 pounds. At 3.5g, it'd feel like it weighed 70 pounds. Add 10 pounds for your helmet, and you're at 105 pounds. (And you'd be an idiot to not wear a helmet at the speeds this would require...)

I was just watching a video about it. A Valkyrie AMR Pro looks really interesting!

I might balk at the price.

Unless it's some sort of collectible car, that's a lot of money. That's a lot of other cars that one could own for that same investment.

Sure, they might not be 1100 HP, but you can have a whole lot of 'em with 500 HP.

Then, at that price, I might just as well order me a Koenigsegg.
