From what I know of you I’m hardly surprised, I’m sure your house is a playground for a musician. Sorry to hear it’s stressing out your misses. I’m sure she will let you know if it becomes too much to handle. I hope I can see video of the show when I come out there it sounded like it was going to be a cool show.
I'm not sure that anyone recorded this one on video. We do have video snippets and are looking into a more professional solution, but that's down the road.
I also work really hard (sort of) to keep my two identities a bit distinct and separate. You'll notice that I use the same username here as I use on Voat. Thus, I don't disclose (on the sites) my connections - like I've never said the name of the band or where specific shows were/are held.
This is at the request of my band members. They don't really like that I'm on Voat (or probably Poal) but that's not their choice. They do want me to keep them as distinct entities, however. It's an understandable request, given the propensity for some to conflate things.
Also, what kinda weirdo voted this down? Sheesh... It's a great article by a wonderful Celtic musician.
I get the need to keep the lives separate I was pretty careful to keep them separate before I founded this place, it’s blurred a little since but I think that’s inevitable. Yeah we have been having some problems with people downvoting other people simply becuase they don’t like the person, similar to what happened when you first joined up with the whole green smoke thing. I’ve been attempting to moderate it. After Father’s Day is over I’ll probably have to make an announcement, if it continues I’m not sure exactly what I’ll do but it needs to be addressed before it gets out of hand.
I don't much mind, but it's pretty silly. I suspect it's spillover from what I saw you asking (he linked a screenshot of the PM, so it's no longer private).
This kind of amuses me, actually. I'm not usually a part of (willingly) the drama, but I get involved in it 'cause of the company I keep. The thing is, I'm nice to everyone who makes even a moderate effort to be intelligent.
I'm pretty fucking harmless. I get accused of all sorts of shit I didn't do. The reality is, I just give this site content and discussion.
Speaking of which, I need to do some sort of educational thing today. So strapped for time... I have an idea!
