**** INTRO ****

Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Well hopefully for their sake, their insurance covers it

It will only cover the policy's maximum, which is less than the full replacement value by at least 40k.

I doubt they carry an umbrella policy in addition to their cheap The General insurance.

We'll see what happens when they appraise it. They may take it, total it out, and then sell it at auction. Whatever they get at auction would be deducted from the price, so there's that. I have no idea what it'd be worth at that type of auction. Probably a fair amount of money, still. The engine alone is worth like 50k.

You think the chances of it being totaled are better than them just repairing the body work?

Yup. I'm thinking it's 20k for the parts alone - and that's a low estimate. Just the headlight is about $5500 - and that's gonna be a good six months waiting period.

So, odds of totaling it out and selling it at auction are pretty good. I'd say it's 50/50 knowing what I know about the insurance agency.
