The brain doesn't stop maturing until at earliest mid to late 20s. That isn't new information as you claim.

That is true. However, for a long time the age of "maturity" at least in the USA has been considered to be 18. In some cases they are saying it needs to be changed to at least 21-25.

It's so funny. When I was just 17 YO I was issued a select fire "machine gun" and taught how to use and maintain it. But I couldn't buy alcohol...
