Militias in such context would quickly be called a bunch of outlaws, criminal gangs, and probably dealt with accordingly. I mean in the context of an "emergency-powers-my-ass" because that's pretty much the only way to get to that point, the point where suspending the constitution temporarily-forever is possible, it's only a matter of incentives, a matter of "the right crisis"... >>Article I, Section 9, Clause 2: The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it. "Habeas Corpus is a fundamental right in the US Constitution that protects against unlawful and indefinite imprisonment." And we're not there yet, and yet look at the Jan-6 fiasco... And that's without mentioning the countless legal provisions/fuckeries they added in patriprout-like acts over the years...
