That's what the bump stock is for. You bump it a bunch and it recharges the batteries. That's how it makes it automatic, kind of like a watch, but manlier.

These people have the same amount of brain cells that the ones that put their iPhone in the microwave to "charge it" because of 4chan years ago have. I am more than happy for them to think something as stupid as this.
They also probably think that their iPhone will survive a EMP and they can still post to social media.... Ironically in the singe situation that putting your phone in a microwave would actually be a GOOD idea if you don't want it fried by a EMP.. (Not enough but better than nothing).
