Does this mean that young people from Colorado will not be able to be recruited into the military until they are 22 YO?

Good point.

If you can't buy a gun, you can't join the military. That will solve the issue once and for all. Maybe they will even lower the age of military service to 16.

When I was just 17 YO I was issued a select fire M16A1 and had been trained to operate two other belt fed machine guns as well as how to use other weapons of mass destruction. Yet I couldn't legally go to the E Club and buy a beer...
