i chose the freedoms that are written in the U.S constitution and the bill of rights
i believe that each human being is born with natural rights endowed by the creator.
if you dont enjoy freedoms then whats the point of civil life? to obey the whims and desires of a dictator? no, i was born under a dictatorship and it sucks balls
people like you have no idea of what that is like (though something similar is happening right now but its not even close and its gonna get worse)
to me its pretty stupid to change your freedoms for what, national pride?
what good does it serve if the dictator decides for whatever reason that you must go to war for him and die and be maimed or to give all your possessions to the party if they need it? etc etc etc
guys like you live in a fantasy. dictators dont bring utopias but mass suffering either early or later in the game....i have first hand experience YOU DONT!
I believe in those very same rights, the Bill of Rights, yet others will sophistize the meaning of the text to those rights to mean something very different, and will fight for that meaning. We have a large and overpowering society that wishes to see the constitution as 'living' in that it should be changed on a whim to fit 'modern' ideas. THAT is not the freedom America was founded upon.
By your own admission, you see it coming apart too; should nothing be done about it? What is the alternative?
That which you've described to stand against is already happening under this 'freedom'.
>By your own admission,
NO you are assuming things, i just want americans to come back to the constitution and bill of rights and a dictator wont be giving you that. a dictator or a tyrant will do as he pleases at your expense and your loved one's
>That which you've described to stand against is already happening under this 'freedom'.
again, this didnt happened because of freedom, you are a confused dude. this happened because you trusted your politicians and failed to make them accountable for their actions.
in many cases, the same politicians stayed in halls of power for decades and decades and this is never a good thing because it invites corruption
our problems start with systemic corruption in all levels national life. you can say that it started in 1913 or even earlier or late...whatever the case is that people thought that politicians were going to police themselves ....
besides, because of human nature all republics are cyclical. they start out well and ends up bad because of corruption and complacency.
a dictatorship, well you will be under the boot of the dictator from the get go even if you agree with some of his policies
as to what to do to fix this? i dont know man. there are two prominent figures that changed the status of their nations
streetshitter Gandhi and george washington .....read those two.....
I just want americans to come back to the constitution and bill of rights
As do I, but we both see the opposite happening without opposition by those who claim to represent us.
I got news for you bro: you're already living in a dictatorship -- a dictatorship of globalist oligarchs whom control everything. The difference is that it's dressed up and convincing enough to be called 'freedom', unless you become too much of a threat. You're watching a puppet show and expecting the puppets to capitulate.
