The ability to start a fire with friction or to calculate the volume of a sphere is not only useful knowledge but in practical terms instinctively imperative.

Knowledge is not without ramifications, a person is mocked for being an illiterate fool but ridiculed for what they know...the higher the IQ the less friends. When a person tries to share his knowledge opposing forces intervene so as to protect the common narrative from any diversion in perspective, particularly a truthful revisionist perspective ergo the suppression of knowledge leads to dumbed down masses....gullible sheep with absolutely no clue about what is going on today and (((who))) controls them.

The (((BOLSHEVIKS))) are looking to finish what they started 100 years ago with the 1st HOLODOMOR. So much of history is repeating itself right now and most people see nothing.

Sometimes I wish I didn't know what I know, what a curse knowledge can be.

Ignorance is bliss, but high intelligence is a curse.

The intelligent are a rarity in society which it cannot assimilate to -- unable to due to massive indoctrination by the powerful and an inability to reconcile living a lie whilst seeing it with open eyes. Why is there no society for for the intelligent amongst the common man? The internet used to be such a place due to the complex barrier to entry, but norms flooded it once it became easy. There is no longer a place for our kind except for obscure 'boards' such as here on Poal. Modern day internet censorship might as well be a culling of intelligent thought in favor of the limited ideals of the commoner.

It's no doubt intentional that we've been forced into the fringe, but at least here we can discuss freely while mostly being left alone to possibly influence those masses, drop by drop as necessary.

One day perhaps, we can reenter society as thought leaders or more likely be remembered for our contributions after we're dead.

I like your post...re. your words..."an inability to reconcile living a lie whilst seeing it with open eyes."...many times the mind is adrift from what the eyes perceive...people don't know what they're seeing, they rely on external forces to explain it to them ie media and expert alchemists. If I tell someone that the Jewish Bolsheviks invented the term racist then I'm considered a bigoted antisemite when in fact all I'm doing is stating historical fact stemming from my knowledge of history. The great reset is the deprogramming of the human mind and erosion of instinct.
