I heard that it was hardcore only and no rezzes are possible. Except this one guy long ago. Apparently the devs hadn't patched out all the exploits yet and he was able to do some crazy shit.

Yeah. Kind of like what happened to the old German servers. They figured out a way to outgame the Large-Nose Guild. It took almost the entire European server base and all of the American servers at LNG's goading.
Now the LNG seems to be able to patch the same priestly treatment onto the Euro region, though.
