It's clear our government is hostile to its denizens. They not only don't help, they make matters worse by exploiting a natural disaster. Often, they create the disaster themselves when they need a certain outcome. If they can't create the disaster, they make a fake disaster and use the media to make it appear real. >I don't think our government and our leaders, at this point, know how to handle this or what to do. I wish this was misfeasance, it's malfeasance. They want the island for something and are purposefully not acting for the citizens. They apparently shut off the Island alerts, didn't dispatch any fire trucks and turned off the water supply to the hydrants. It would not surprise me one bit if they actually used some military weapon to start the fires in the first place. Any one fuckup could be excused but the totality of them makes this a deliberate act. Then add the fact that vultures are trying to negotiate land thefts (including the government) makes this scenario criminal. >How did the fires start? >How did the fires spread so rapidly? >How did a fire that was supposedly "out" end up causing the most damage of all? >According to U.S. Representative Jill Tokuda, the alarm system that is supposed to warn residents that a disaster is happening appears to have failed.  How is that possible? >Why are emergency supplies not getting to the people that desperately need them? >Why are people that have just had their homes burned down in the fires already being bombarded with calls with offers to purchase their properties? >Why has the FBI moved a “mobile refrigerated morgue” into Lahaina? >Why is Joe Biden lounging on the beach while all of this is happening? I have my own rhetorical question: what was the point of giving each affected family only $700 when we give $billions to Ukraine? I won't answer each question, but just let the aggregate questions answer themselves. Again, each question can have plausible deniability or an innocent answer but when looked at in total, a clear pattern emerges.
